Sustained by the King

2016 was a great year. While I could reminisce for paragraphs about the many highs and lows of the past 12 months, I thought instead to reminisce about all that the Lord taught me this year.

If you feel like you’ve been forgotten or abandoned by the Lord, think of the Israelites. They suffered, but God never left them, even after their disobedience in the wilderness.

But on the judgment day, fire will reveal what kind of work each builder has done. The fire will show if a person’s work has any value.

If God is the creator, and we are made in His likeness, shouldn’t we be able to create too?

Learn to do good. Seek justice. Help the oppressed. Defend the cause of orphans. Fight for the rights of widows.
